About this event

  • Event lasts 1490 days 17 hours

Educator self-care is more than chocolate after a tough class, a massage after a difficult interaction, or a fishing trip after an athletic tournament. Teacher support is more than cookies in the lounge, potlucks each month, and Secret Santa at Christmas. Strategies like these may support short-term survival, but more is needed to sustain a long-term profession in education. Join us as we discuss reflection & personal growth, connection & influence, and the ways that teachers and leaders can develop the skills and habits needed to thrive at work.

Learning Intentions:

  • Participants will understand the importance of self-reflection in developing personal authenticity.
  • Participants will understand the impact of personal decisions and actions in developing shared authenticity.
  • Participants will have an improved ability to apply knowledge to a problem of practice.
  • Participants will improve networking for collaborative problem-solving.
