Who should attend?

The seminar is designed for professionals from various fields in the financial and non-financial sector. Professionals involved in sustainability reporting demands, stakeholder engagement and ESG readiness will particularly benefit from a deeper understanding of the updated sustainability reporting requirements. These include, but are not limited to, sustainability managers, environmental managers, human resources, compliance and marketing officers, financial and risk analysts, business strategists and individuals responsible for the preparation, management, or use of the sustainability statements within their organisations.

Panayiotis Theodorou| Director| Sustainability & Emerging Assurance​

Panos is a Director currently leading Deloitte’s Sustainability & Emerging Assurance practice. He has over 17 years of experience within Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance group in Nicosia, London and New York, working with a range of multinational organizations.

Panos has supported numerous financial institutions and corporates in Cyprus and the wider Middle East region on areas including CSRD and other non-financial reporting readiness assessments, ESG KPI and sustainability report assurance work as well as ESG Strategy and other EU Sustainability regulatory compliance including SFDR & EU Taxonomy.

Panos has presented, facilitated and joined panels on sustainability and has also led a number of trainings and webinars on Sustainability and other regulatory topics.

Andria Lysiotou| Senior Manager| Sustainability & Emerging Assurance​

​Andria is a Senior Manager at Deloitte’s Sustainability & Emerging Assurance practice. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and an economics graduate from the University of Cambridge.

Andria is currently involved in multiple CSRD implementation projects for companies in Cyprus and the Middle East. She has recently helped one of the systemic banks in Cyprus prepare their first sustainability statement providing guidance and training throughout the process such as shortlisting the relevant sustainability matters, identifying the IROs, drafting scoring matrices and performing stakeholder engagement to conduct their Double Materiality Assessment. Andria also helped clients complete their Gap Assessments to identify areas of improvement for streamlining sustainability reporting and controls.

Prior to joining Deloitte Andria worked for BDO in London managing a portfolio of listed clients. She has experience in drafting policies and procedures and advising on internal controls over financial reporting. She was also involved in several regulatory audits for financially regulated clients.
