Survival Traps
Overview
Join Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival in this highly requested class on crafting survival traps! This class will focus on crafting wood, rope, and wires to create various traps should you find yourself in a survival situation and need meat. Learn techniques on where to find animals, which application to use, and learn how to craft and set up your own traps!
With time and interest, we may also cover animal processing as well.
The traps we cover will be different than those we teach in Wilderness Survival 2 and the SOS Challenge. Join us and learn to survive in the wilderness!
Please bring a notebook and pen, water, snacks, and a survival carving tool to class, these will also be available to borrow and purchase at the start of class as well.
This is an adult class. Mature Minors are welcome to join with a parent.
The ticket costs covers 1 student, regardless of age.
Please note that there will be no actual trapping and all of the traps we teach are for educational and entertainment purposes only. We follow the laws in accordance to the Massachusetts Fish and Wildlife Service and have created a code of ethics to ensure that these are set up in the most efficient manner possible.
This class will be taught by Tim Swanson, Founder and Lead Instructor of Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival.
