This course DOES NOT OFFER TIME FOR GLAZING YOUR WORKS. As a result of the timeline needed to run this class, we will offer to bisque fire and then add clear glaze to your pieces made during the class time. This will be done after your 5th class and pieces should be ready in about 3 weeks for pickup which you should plan to email the studio at info@potterymill.com to check in on.

The class includes everything you need for the lessons including all clay required for each demonstration, materials such as underglaze, wax resist, and newsprint. The price for this course is set to allow the studio to cover the expenses of all materials ahead of the class. All firing and finishing costs are also included in price. Members are also able to use their own clay and materials during class time if they wish.

There will be no official makeup classes for inclement weather; we will send out an email for cancellations.

5 Week Cancellation and rescheduling policy.

We do not offer refunds for cancellations unless under extensive circumstances. In the case that you need to transfer courses, ask for a refund, or other issues you MUST contact the studio at info@potterymill.com ASAP. Due to the nature of our courses, registration there are often few/no remaining spots in other course times as they fill extremely quickly. If feasible, we are prepared to transfer you into an open spot or issue a refund ONLY IF course registration is still open/someone has joined our waitlist for the course slot you’d like to leave. Once classes have begun, NONE of these options will be available as our small business won’t be able to replace the cost of your ticket with a new class member.

Missed classes cannot be made up after the session is over with the exception of glazing. It is the student’s responsibility to email the studio at info@potterymill.com to schedule make up time before the session is over. This will be independent time made up by the student during other open class times, these classes do not cover the same topics so please keep in mind they will not teach the surface techniques.
