Klasey Consulting is partnering with Lincoln Families is sponsoring "Supporting Trauma Survivors through Narratives" for Alameda Solano, Mendocino, Lake, Contra Costa, Humboldt, Tuolumne and Calaveras County providers. Narratives help trauma survivors distance themselves from what has been done to them. The training will provide an overview of what narrative support is and how to apply it with system-involved youth and young adults. You’ll learn examples of narrative techniques so you can apply them to clients on your caseload.

The learning objectives for the training include:

  • 1.Participants will be able to Explain narrative support for trauma survivors.
  • 2.Participants will be able to Identify one key component of narrative support.
  • 3. Participants will be able to Apply one narrative technique with a trauma survivor.

Please note that in order to register for these FREE trainings your organization must directly work with foster, adoptive or probation involved children, youth and their families in Alameda, Solano, Mendocino, Lake, Contra Costa, Humboldt, Tuolumne and Calaveras only. Caregivers, including resource families, who serve youth in the above-mentioned counties are also eligible. Participants outside of these areas aren't eligible and will not receive the zoom link.
