  • Event lasts 4 hours

Event Description:
Are you supporting a loved one who struggles with substance use? You’re not alone — and you don’t have to navigate it alone either.

This free training is designed for family members, caregivers, and professionals who want to better understand substance use disorders and how to support those affected. Whether you're just beginning to seek answers or you've been involved for years, this session will offer practical tools, compassionate insight, and pathways to hope.

Topics Covered:

  • Recognizing the signs and patterns of substance use
  • Harm reduction tools and overdose prevention (including naloxone)
  • Family-centered engagement models like CRAFT
  • Navigating treatment options and levels of care
  • Peer support resources (Al-Anon, Nar-Anon, GRASP, and more)
  • Coping with grief, loss, and healing as a family member

Who Should Attend:

  • Parents, partners, and adult children of individuals with SUD
  • Peer support workers and case managers
  • Healthcare providers and community leaders
  • Anyone seeking tools and connection

Let’s work together to build stronger support systems for families—and better outcomes for the people we love.
