Empowering individuals with IDD to make their own choices is critical for self-determination and independence. This session will explore supported decision-making strategies, balancing risk and autonomy, and ways to help individuals build confidence in making informed choices. Participants will practice real-world scenarios to strengthen their ability to support decision-making in everyday life.

The Creative Approach Development Center (CADC) is a leading professional development and training organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and those who support them. Founded in 2015 by Dr. Zipporah Levi-Shackleford, CADC was born from personal experience and a mission to break down barriers in disability and mental health services.
