Speakers: Amanda Hemm, Director of Parent Experience at Parento

Speaker Qualifications:

Amanda Hemm is the Director of Parent Experience at Parento. As a certified parental leave coach, she empowers working parents to succeed as individuals, parents, and professionals. Her background as a postpartum doula and lactation educator provides her a unique perspective as she works with parents navigating the myriad transitions associated with parental leave. Prior to joining Parento, Amanda founded a startup that worked with companies to provide family-friendly workshops and training. When not working with parents, Amanda is soaking up fall in New England and all of the adventures that come with teenagers, football, and college applications.

During this training:

Attorneys face extraordinary pressure—from secondary trauma in humanitarian cases to long hours and client demands. Many struggle with postpartum depression, anxiety, or lack of support when returning from birth, adoption, or foster leave. This CLE explores how law firms (large and small) can better support attorneys through parental leave and structured return-to-work programs. Drawing on insights from Parento, we’ll address mental health, resilience, and firm policies that promote attorney well-being.
