About this event

Mark your calendars for the first Thursday of each month!

Join Maryland Public Television (MPT) for Early Learning Social, a monthly virtual gathering designed for early educators. Connect with peers in interactive discussions, share valuable resources, and enhance your teaching skills. Throughout 2025, our free training series will offer an in-depth exploration of the Maryland Early Learning Standards, covering each of the five learning domains across two sessions. In August, the focus will be on family engagement strategies and resources to strengthen language and literacy skills.

Attend the August session, and come ready to collaborate with peers as you:

  • Enhance your competencies by learning how to engage families and caregivers effectively using family communication bundles
  • Identify resources to help families build media literacy skills at home
  • Discover how to easily integrate high-quality educational media from PBS KIDS into your teaching toolkit
  • Earn 2 COK hours towards your training requirement
