Welcome to the African American Support group!

Join us for a safe and supportive space where individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) can connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. This in-person event will be held at 6845 University Ave. also known as the Salvation Army Kroc Community Center.

For the month of June we will have a presentation on Living and Housing Options! Are you or a loved one starting to think of housing options? Thiss presentation will go over Independent Living Services, Supported Living Services and Community Living Options. Come learn about the array of services that SDRC offers to help you or your loved one live independently in the community!

Whether you're seeking services or just looking to network, our group is here for you. This event is a great opportunity for SDRC staff and the IDD community to gather, share resources and empower one another. We can't wait to see you there!

We will have a light breakfast and refreshments available.

Please note: Childcare will not be provided.
