Important Attendance Information:
Sunshine Coast Acoustic Escape is a club-related event, and your ticket will make you a member for the remainder of 2025, if you are not already a member, by simply completing the membership form upon arrival at sign-in.
🎶 Coast Acoustics hosts four major events per year and runs regular open mics and jam sessions on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
Heads-up: Bribie Island Escape mid-November is in the works!!

Frequently asked questions
You will need to sign in with identification and collect a wristband. All attendees are required to wear a wristband for the event. Sign in before setting up to ensure you are in the right spot. Check-in will be located outside the main hall and by the entrance gates.
Non-members will be required to complete a membership form on arrival. Your membership is valid for the remainder of the current calendar year (e.g. this year is 2025 and therefore 2025 only). Membership ends on the last day of December (December 31st of the current year).
Long Stay Options: If you want to camp on Friday night and Monday Night. There is an option for you as you take in more of the Sunny Coast region. This can be booked directly with https://www.kenilworthshowgrounds.org.au/camping-grounds PH:0438 849 947
There are 50+ sites available, so please book asap as they will go fast. The sites are 15-amp sites.
There is phone reception at Kenilworth.
We try to keep rules to a minimum, but to keep the neighbours happy - Please do not speed if you are driving around the facilities or site. - No electronic instruments, amplifiers or drumming after 10pm - Please be respectful of the people around you.
This is an acoustic event. External power is limited and for the powered sites. Cajon drumming is preferred as acoustic drum kits are not catered for. Bass amps and other amplification must be respectful. If you have further questions, please contact committee@coastacoustics.au
Event Cost & Camping is per person for Saturday & Sunday Night. Bump in from 10am on Saturday and pack up and reluctantly bid farewell on Monday. Bring a camp chair you can jam in and meet other like-minded musos.
For day tickets, you will need to sign in on arrival to collect your wristband. See one of the committee members to direct you.
Campfires are allowed in above-ground fire pits - no not damage the grass. Please check with the venue to ensure you are compliant.
