About this event

  • Free venue parking

Hello- So happy you found your way here! I am a 200h RYT, Vinyasa instructor and teach at several local studios. I'm offering this intimate restorative practice for people who desire small groups and quiet settings.

Our yurt is in the backyard of our home in South Seward Park and there will be signs to help guide you to the path around the house. Class starts with a short meditation, moves into a gentle vinyasa flow with some longer restorative positions, and then additional guided meditation to close. Potential sound and vibrational instruments may be incorporated as requested.

Please bring refillable water bottle, easy on/off shoes, and dress in comfortable temperature related clothing. In warmer weather, this could be considered "heated" yoga. Mats, blankets, bolsters, and blocks are provided.

First timers will be asked to sign a release of liability. Tickets are $25 suggested donation for class and materials.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring?

Please bring slip on/off shoes, water bottle, and wear comfortable layers. Depending on the outside temperature, it may be very warm or cool. A mat, blanket, blocks, and bolster are provided.

Is there parking?

The yurt is in a residential backyard so street parking near the home is available.

Will I see the yurt from the street?

No. The house is white with a red door and there are little signs at the front steps that will direct you around the South side of the house to the backyard and the yurt door will be obvious at that point.

Can I come late?

No, please arrive no later than 5m prior to class starting. I will have your mat set up for you but once class has begun, the door will be closed so everyone can get their full session and experience.

Is there water?

Yes. Please bring a refillable water bottle to get filter water from the dispenser.

Is there a bathroom?

Yes. There is a very nice and private detached bathroom but there is no running water. We provide sanitizer and toilettes.
