Sunset Stroll

Sunset Stroll at EMBARC Youth Farm

Unwind with us on a peaceful and gentle, ranger-led sunset stroll to the largest granite outcrop in the park. We will begin in the garden before heading out on the half-mile walk to watch the sunset over the granite landscape. Along the way, there will be a chance to observe (from a distance) the bee apiary as well as the pond and other unique ecosystems and seasonal wonders. This is a family-friendly event fit for all ages.

Hiking Level: Easy -- Approximately 1 mile total on a mix of paved surfaces, gravel, and rock. Suitable for most fitness levels.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes
• Layers (warm early evenings can cool quickly)
• Optional blanket or camp chair to sit on
• Headlamp or flashlight for the return walk
• Water and bug spray if desired

Note: There is some bumpy terrain, so strollers and wheeled items are recommended to stay in the garden. Please be prepared to carry anything you want to bring.
