Join Artist Katie Detrich for a guided meditation and sound bath experience.

Check-in begins at 7:15pm

Guided Meditation and Sound Bath will begin at 8pm.

*Doors to the pool will close at 7:50. No one will be able to enter late. Please make sure you arrive early to settle in. There will be a lifeguard on duty. During the meditation & sound bath all guests are expected to float on their mattress or rest quietly on their poolside chair. *No swimming please. All cellphones and devices must be turned off or placed on silent once the event starts. No cell phones to be used once the meditation & sound bath begin.

There will be a professional photographer, Evan Mitchell on site for photo opportunities before and after the event. He will be taking complimentry group photos. Ticket Options: $40- Floating full sized air mattress Size: 6'LX4'W Weight capacity: 600lb *1 person per floating air mattress

$25- Reclining chair, poolside Guests are encouraged to bring a long sleeved shirt, pants, blanket, pillow, and sunglasses or sleep mask for extra comfort. The sun sets at 8:36pm. The pool will be surrounded with flamess LED candle.

Katie will begin the session with a guided voice meditation to help you relax, calm and release anxiety. Followed by 45 mintues of sound healing as she plays her 432Hz Crystal Singing Bowls. Sound Baths offer a range of benefits for mental and physical well-being, including stress reduction, improved mood, pain relief, and better sleep. The vibrations from the bowls create a calming, meditative state that promotes relaxation and reduces anxiety. Sound baths may also help improve focus, enhance body awareness, and even support emotional release.

Pasadena artist and entrepreneur, Katie Detrich, has created a professional life in the arts field by embracing her talents while keeping an open mind to new possibilities.

She believes art should be entertaining. With that motto in mind, she began hosting children’s theme parties that include fascinating balloon sculptures and imaginative face painting. Her love for children joined with her enthusiasm for storytelling and drawing inspired her to become a children's book author and illustrator.

Teaching creative arts to children and adults has become her mission because of her belief that we are all born artists.

In her free time, Katie enjoys writing songs and playing guitar. To Katie, music in general has inspired her to create the majority of her art, including writing poetry. As an Optical Artist, she chooses to paint on canvas using bright colors that capture the eye, and contain symbolism.

Wall murals she has created can be found in local businesses in the area, as she enjoys being a part of the fast paced business environment while also spending solitary time in family homes creating custom designed murals for customers.

Photography was something that Katie stumbled upon while enjoying the beautiful waterways Pasadena has to offer, which presented her with the opportunity to have her photographs featured in local newspapers. Katie is also a comic artist at the Pasadena Voice where she is creates the "Crabby Comics".

Katie absolutely loves what she does. She has a unique way of working with people by making them feel at ease, and helping them to get into a creative mood, making painting with Katie a "Super Rad" experience!
