About this event

Community • City & Town

We invite you to experience the proposed East Channel Trail in a new way on Saturday, November 1, when we open a segment of the proposed trail between East Duane Avenue and Blythe Avenue for a special “Greenway for a Day” event. (Find us at the entrance to the maintenance road along the East Channel on East Duane Avenue, between Johanna Avenue and San Juan Drive.) Residents will have the opportunity to freely walk along this open section of the trail, explore the proposed route, and share feedback with the Study Team.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, registration will be staggered in timed slots throughout the day. Space is limited, so please RSVP in advance to reserve your spot.

We encourage participants to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle and sun protection. No pets please!

Parking:
Free parking for the event is available in the back parking lot of The King’s Academy (approximately a 3-minute walk), located at 790 E Duane Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085.

You may also park at the Fair Oaks Park lot on North Britton Avenue. Street parking is available nearby as well.
