🌿 Sunflower Song Circle for Samhain 🪶

🗓️ Friday 31st October | 🕰️ 7:00pm – 9:30pm at Fine Feather Hove

Location:📍 Fine Feather Wellness, 25 The Drive, BN3 3JE

Hosted by Sunflower Sangha and friends

An evening of music, magic & mystical connection

Join us for a heart-opening evening of music, meditation and ancestral connection, as we celebrate Samhain – the Celtic origin of Halloween.

Together, we’ll weave a tapestry of sound and spirit — blending kirtan and other sacred songs from around the world with the ancestral rhythms of the British Isles, all under the warm glow of candlelight.

Dress to raise the spirits as we connect with the ancestral and shamanic energy of the UK, through the lens of kirtan and medicine music.

🌿 What to Expect

  • Doors open at 7pm, for a 7:15pm start
  • A guided ancestor meditation
  • Kirtan, medicine music and Celtic-inspired songs sung together
  • Group singing and shared music-making
  • A hot drink
  • A spiritual way to celebrate Halloween

Bring Along

  • Your voice, your heart, and your musical instrument if you wish
  • We provide mats, cushions, and tea cups — but feel free to bring your own for comfort
  • Fancy dress- dress to raise your spirits; your best ceremonial or shamanic outfit, what raises your energy, or clothing to honour nature

💛 Contribution

As this event has more of a offering from us than our usual song circle, we’ll operate a conscious pricing model to make it as inclusive as possible whilst covering additional costs.

What is Samhain?

Samhain (pronounced Sow-in) is an ancient Celtic festival marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter — a time when the veil between worlds is said to be thinnest. It’s a moment to honour the ancestors, release the old, and invite the new. Many of the customs that evolved into modern-day Halloween have their roots in these indigenous traditions of the UK and Ireland, where Samhain was celebrated with fire, music, and offerings to the spirits of the land.me as you are. Sing as you feel. Let’s raise our voices together.
