Saturday Supper & Conversation with Miry's List

Our family has been involved with the refugee resettlement work that Miry’s List has been doing for many years and we are glad of the opportunity to again offer what help we and our friends can. Needless to say, the work that Miry and her team do is more crucial now than it has ever been.

Join us for an evening of food, friends, and meaningful conversation with Miry's List, an Eagle Rock-founded nonprofit organization supporting families resettling as refugees in Southern CA and across the U.S.

Our Sunday Supper & Conversation is happening at our home in Eagle Rock at 1403 Linda Rosa Ave. There will be startlingly great food cooked by the Kanjo family and an opportunity to see old friends and make new ones while supporting this wonderful organization that has helped so many vulnerable families. Miry's List founder, Eagle Rocker Miry Whitehill, will engage us in a timely discussion about the situation for resettling refugee families in the U.S., how policy changes are impacting the community, how the families are doing, and how we can help.

Proceeds benefit Miry's List core programming that fills gaps in support for families who are resettling in the U.S. after fleeing violence and persecution in their home countries.

This event will take place outdoors. All ages welcome.
