Here & Now
Finding ourselves in the here and now can be tricky sometimes, but it doesn’t need to be. In this sound bath, I invite you to be in the now moment as you relax into your senses to observe the frequencies of sound. With the aid of the sound bath, we can all connect to our inner guru and wellspring of nourishment within.
Join us as we embark on a sound voyage with Emersen Lorenz and Reiki with Joyce Leonard. Reconnect with your inner sanctum as you are transported through soundscapes ranging from the ancient and primal to the angelic and ethereal.
Emersen will be playing a range of instruments including the didgeridoo, singing bowls, chakapa, gongs, and more. The soundscape will be enriched by his vocals which include throat singing. The experience will be relaxing, transcendent, and nourishing. The soundscape provided is a portal to your inward journey.
With Reiki added to this sound voyage you will go even deeper into relaxation and restoration. Reiki is an energy technique used to reduce pain, stress, and anxiety. It also promotes relaxation all the way to your core, helping you feel more grounded, centered, and empowered in life.
During the sound bath, Joyce Leonard (of Santa Cruz Reiki Works) will offer Reiki by placing or hovering her hands over different parts of your body, helping the energy balance and flow more naturally. You will feel her gentle, compassionate touch encouraging you to go deeper within and reconnect with your True Self. You will be asked privately if you would not like to be touched and if you would not like to participate in the reiki.
