Sunday Cupping at CANVAS: Featuring Davida Coffee + Sweet Bloom Co

We’re honored to host a special cupping event at CANVAS featuring six stunning coffees from Davida Coffee, a producer-direct Colombian coffee project connecting origin to roastery through meaningful relationship.

This cupping is a collaboration between Davida, Sweet Bloom Co., and Canvas Coffee, bringing together community, coffee stories, and creativity—all in one place.

Come taste the story in the cup, meet the creative force behind the visuals (Cristal Cabanillas-Chen of @sweetbloomco), and connect with the people behind the beans. 🌿

Each guest will receive a complimentary gift of fresh flowers, while supplies last, curated by Cristal herself—an artist and designer who works closely with Davida and their farming families.

This cupping is open to the public and we’re inviting local roasters, café owners, and curious coffee lovers alike to explore, connect, and celebrate Colombian coffee together.

About the Experience:

Founded by David Bedoya, Da Vida is a producer-forward coffee company connecting small and medium growers in Colombia and Central America with roasters around the world. Their mission is rooted in connection, culture, and sustainability—bringing new varietals like Espacamara and rich regional stories to the cup.

With Japan as their founding market and Charlotte now their U.S. hub, Da Vida is expanding their reach with the help of Cristal Cabanillas-Chen, a visual artist, designer, and ambassador who helps bring the beauty of their coffee and its producers to life.

On October 5, we’ll be tasting six coffees from Da Vida, and gathering around the table to celebrate the people behind the beans.
