Frequently asked questions

What's the intended age range?

Mid 20's to mid 30's. A space for young professionals to connect and have fun!

What will the dynamic of the event be like?

There will be music, games, light snacks and drinks (first come, first serve), and some picnic blankets provided. Each picnic blanket will have a different game, and attendees can hop from blanket to blanket to play a different game and meet new people!

Will games be provided?

Yes! We'll have some games there already, but please feel free to bring your own as well!

Do I need to bring my own food and drinks?

Some light snacks and water will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. So feel free to bring your own food and drinks if you'd like!

Do I need to bring my own picnic blanket?

A few picnic blankets will be provided for the group! However, if you plan on coming with a group and would like to all sit together, feel free to bring your own!

Where exactly are we meeting?

We'll be in the Musuem Campus area, on the grass / park along Solidarity Drive. If you look on a map, the grass area specifically in between Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium facing the water.

Parking Suggestions?

Since we'll be on the museum campus, I suggest parking through them. The Adler Planetarium lot offers daily parking for $27. The Shedd Aquarium / Soldier Field lot offers 4 hour parking for $27. All of these options will be close, a few minutes walk from where we'll be at.
