Do you love sewing? Well so do we! So that's why we organised Brighton's ONLY independent community sewing festival!
All are welcome to our next event the 'Summer SEWMANCE.'
The Summer SEWMANCE will be on Saturday 3rd June 11-6pm at St George's Church, Kemptown.
Come and find your sewing tribe!
We will have our usual wonderful selection of handpicked, local stalls selling beautiful fabric, notions, patterns and, sewing related goodies. Including Fabric Godmother, The Eternal Maker and Oh You Handsome Devil!
Our wonderful Workshop area, will be offering a varied and full range of sewing activities including upcycling and refashioning. Come and join in the fun with our 'Make and Take' workshops from Remade in Brighton, Sew Retro, Sew in Brighton and The Friends Centre.
We will have a full day of inspiring #sewingstories in our Talks area from such talented individuals as Gabby Young from @gabberdashery and Frances Tobin from The Maker's Atelier.
We will also be hosting a collaborative #Yarnbomb extravanganza with Remade In Brighton! We love Yarn too!
There will be amazing vegetarian and vegan food, scrumptious cakes, proper coffee, lovely tea and a BAR for a cheeky festival tipple! Woo hoo!
We will also have a craft table for the children!
The event is wheelchair accessible.
Checkout our website www.sewmance.co.uk for a full line up!
We are so excited about the next instalment of our SEWMANCE Journey and we can't wait to sew with you all so book those tickets and get involved!
See you in June
