What age children can attend Summer Farm Camp?

Farm Camp is geared towards 6-9 year-olds, but if your 5-year old is interested in joining us...we can usually make an exception! We have a group for 10- & 11-year olds who will be our apprentice leaders and not only participate in Farm Camp but will also have some projects geared towards them!

Do the children eat lunch at camp?

Yes, the attendees bring a packed lunch and water bottle from home for lunch time, but we will provide morning and afternoon snacks - often harvested and prepared by the children!

What are the hours for Summer Farm Camp?

Camp is daily from 9am-3pm.

Question 4

My child has allergies. Will the snack be adjusted for their allergies?

Accepted Answer

We will do our best to accommodate food allergies in snack pre. When you sign up you will alert us to you child allergies and if we have any concerns about being able to have alternative snacks, etc. we will reach out to you for suggestions to be sure your child is taken care of at camp!

Will the kids learn about farming & agriculture?

Absolutely! But don't tell the kids that! Summer Farm Camp will be a combination of fun - games, crafts, nature walks, etc. and they will be having such a great time they won't even realize that they are actually learning the whole time!
