What are the age and requirements to participate?

For the Kids Activities Camp: open to ages 4-7, participants must be fully potty trained and able to use the restroom on their own. For the Kids Adventure Camp: participants must be at least 8 years old at the start of camp and may not be older than 17 by the end of camp. No exceptions.

Is prior experience necessary?

Accepted Answer

No prior experience of any camp activity is required. Campers will receive instruction and supervision for all activities.

Where are activities located?

Accepted Answer

For the Kids Activities Camp (Ages 4-7), all activities will take place at or around Main Lodge on the Judah side of Sugar Bowl Resort. For the Kids Adventure Camp (Ages 8-17), all activities will be based in Truckee-Tahoe, within a 30 mile radius of Sugar Bowl Resort on Donner Summit.

Are parents allowed to attend camp activities?

Due to the nature of our schedule and activities, parents/guardians are not permitted to participate in camp programming.

Question 5

Where and when is pick-up and drop-off?

Accepted Answer

Pick-up and Drop-off will be on the main level of the Mt. Judah parking lot at the circle in front of Judah Lodge. Drop-off is at 8:30 AM. Pick-up is at 4:30 PM.

Is early drop-off/late-pick up available?

Due to the nature of our schedule and activities, early drop-off/late pick-up is not available.

What is the weather policy?

Camp operates rain or shine. The safety of our campers and staff is our top priority. We closely monitor weather conditions each day and adjust camp activities accordingly. All activities are subject to change without notice.

Question 8

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Due to high demand and the nature of our schedule and activities, no refunds or cancellations can be made. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect your investment against unforeseen circumstances.

Question 9

What is the camp cost and what is included ?

Accepted Answer

Kids Activities Camp (Ages 4-7) is: $700 per participant, per week.Kids Adventure Camp (Ages 8-17) is: $1,000.00 per participant, per week. All activities, equipment, transportation and supervision are included.

What is not included in the camp cost?

Accepted Answer

Food is not included, participants are required to pack a lunch and snacks daily. Service and processing fees are not included. Personal health insurance and trip insurance is not included.

Question 11

What do campers need to wear/bring?

Accepted Answer

Day pack with swimsuit, towel, sweatshirt or rain jacket (weather permitting), sunscreen, sunglasses, hat (optional). Recommended to wear quick dry clothing and must have closed toed shoes. Bring a water bottle (minimum 1L), AM snack, lunch, and PM snack. Food must be sealed and labeled.

What are the minimum qualifications of camp counselors?

All camp staff meet the following minimum requirements: at least 18 years old, are eligible to work in the US, have a high school diploma or equivalent, current CPR & First Aid certification, passed a background check. All drivers hold a CA Commercial Drivers License.
