Description

Join the National Academies' Board on Atmospheric Sciences and Climate (BASC) and Water Science and Technology Board (WSTB) in a joint session on "Connecting Climate, Weather, and Water: Status, Challenges, and Needs for Subseasonal-to-Seasonal Forecasting for Water Use and Management."

This public meeting will be an opportunity to hear from and converse with water users and managers about subseasonal-to-seasonal (S2S) forecasting and applications for decision making. The session will include several keynote presentations in the morning and a panel discussion in the afternoon that will draw upon experiences and ideas from the weather and climate, hydrologic, and water management/user communities.
