Yes! Shoppers shop for free. Those who want to consign their clothes will pay a small fee. You must reserve a spot to sell via a rack spot ticket. We recommend having a venmo account set up to buy clothes.

What should I bring if I'm selling clothes?

Make sure your signed up as a vendor via this page. We have limited spots, so sign up early. Just bring your clothes and enough hangers! We will supply the space and clothing rack to hang your clothes. Also recommend having Venmo setup to get paid by shoppers!

How much does it cost to sell?

It’s $20 to reserve a consigning space. That fee helps cover racks, space set up, and event promotion. We’re keeping the cost low so you can sell your clothes, reach new people, and be part of a growing thrift community.

Question 4

How early should I arrive to set up?

Accepted Answer

Please check your emails for details about set up times and unloading. We recommend coming early to find parking and taking your time setting up. You can come anytime from 11:15-12 to set up. We recommend bringing your clothes in a suitcase or wagon to wheel from parking to the venue.

Do I need to stay the whole time?

No, stay as long as you want! But you must be there at the start (12:00 pm)

How big are the clothing racks?

Approx 4 feet long. Follow  @stylexchangeboston on IG and TikTok to see more details.  If you don't think you have enough clothes to hang, sign up with a friend and share the rack and split the costs! If you have too much, sign up for 2 + racks!

Can I bring clothes to sell if I didn't sign up as a vendor?

No, unfortunately due to limited space we can only accommodate those who sign up. But you can sign up for the waitlist to sell at the next event.

Parking?

Accepted Answer

There is street parking, garages, and other lots near the venue. Salem gets very busy in October, we recommend arriving early to find parking or having someone drop you off and pick you up. https://www.salem.org/travel-info/parking/
