See What We’ve Got – And How You Can Use It! Open to GSA students only.
What to Expect:Each session is around 30–45 minutes long and could include:
- A quick intro to the Archives and Collections: what we are, what we do, and what we hold.
- A hands-on demo of how to explore our online catalogue to find what you’re looking for or just get inspired!
- A chance to ask about or view something specific you are interested in (if time allows).
Why Visit?The Archives and Collections are a rich resource for the study and enjoyment of art, design, architecture, and art education. Our collections span over 160 years and include:
- Student work, staff archives, and GSA's own institutional records
- Furniture, fine art, textiles, fashion, jewellery, architectural drawings, posters, photography, archival material and more...
- Works by notable figures like Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Joan Eardley, and Jasleen Kaur
- Teaching materials, sketchbooks, minute books, and ephemera from across GSA’s history
