The Stronger Together forum aims to empower and strengthen connections between seniors, families, advocates, aged care workers, police and other leaders to enhance community safety, increase reporting and awareness of available services and support.
Learn about around about your rights in aged care, how advocates can help you, recognising, responding and reporting elder abuse, how to recognise and protect yourself against scams with cyber safety tips, as well as other resources. The forum will include presentations from police and the Elder Rights Australia providing advice on how people can seek help, including victim support services, access to counselling, and legal and financial support.
