As parents or guardians of college-bound teens, we know you are doing your best to prepare your students for college, and to stretch those college fund dollars.
The Strong Choices Framework can help. (www.strongchoices.us)
The 90-Min online session for our framework makes the college major and college selection process easier.
We created a 3-Phase Framework, including critical thinking templates and a customized spreadsheet to walk the parent and student through key decision milestones. In this coaching session, you will receive:
- Self-Assessment (multiple tools to identify student strengths & interests)
- College Major Framework (a critical thinking template to generate potential career paths and a process to narrow options)
- Areas of Specialization (considers skill sets valued in a fast-changing job market)
- College Selection Spreadsheet (rank college options or scholarship offers, including a customized section for the student to include their unique needs to thrive)
- Completing these 3 phases enables the student to start college with a plan for their coursework and their future. A plan allows them to avoid unnecessary semesters and save TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars.
NOTE: Sessions through 2025 are posted. 2026 dates will be available closer to January.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR/COACH
Sheniqua Little, Ph.D.
I created the Strong Choices Framework after helping a friend and their high school student think through the college major selection process. The information was so valuable that they encouraged me to formalize this information as a service.
As I spoke with other parents and researched existing tools, I realized that I could help in a few ways that the other tools did not. I created one program that offers 3 key aspects in one place: assessment, college major and college selection. As a Marketing Executive for 20+ years, I participated in recruitment teams for several large companies. I have reviewed hundreds of new college grad resumes and know what employers seek. My Ph.D. equips me to create frameworks and processes to simplify the complex. I have brought order and clarity to one portion of the college application process.
