Stroller Hour

Stroller Hour

By Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

Overview

The museum opens early to welcome parents and caregivers with young children for a stroller-friendly experience of Rashid Johnson's exhibit.

In this new family program, the rotunda opens early to welcome parents and caregivers with young children for a relaxed, stroller-friendly experience of Rashid Johnson: A Poem for Deep Thinkers. Stroll the ramps to explore nearly 90 works at your own pace, then engage in a drop-in art making activity and connect with other families in a pop-up play space that activates Johnson’s Rotunda Stage (2025).

Bottle or breastfeeding is welcome anywhere in the museum. Strollers and soft, front-facing carriers are permitted; however, baby backpacks and toddler carriers are not permitted. While this program is geared towards young children, older siblings may attend with adult supervision.

Tickets are required. General admission is $30 per adult, and children under the age of 12 are free. Fees include program and museum admission. General admission is free for museum members and SNAP/EBT families through Culture Connected.
