Course Description:

This advanced continuing education course is designed for rehabilitation professionals working with individuals’ post-stroke including PT’s, PTA’s, OT’s, OTA’s and SLP. The course provides a comprehensive, functional approach to stroke rehabilitation, integrating the latest evidence on neuroplasticity and motor learning with hands-on strategies for improving real world outcomes. Clinicians will explore practical strategies for improving motor planning, gait intensity, cognition, and the flaccid arm, while harnessing the power of neuroplasticity, learn functional stroke interventions, best practices and outcome measures. Clinicians will leave with real-life case studies, videos, and interactive labs which will reinforce the material and provide clinicians with tools they can immediately apply in practice to enhance outcomes and quality of life for their patients recovering from stroke.


This course has been submitted for CEUs from the OT section of the Ohio OTPTAT board and the Ohio Physical Therapy Association.
