Strip Quilting with Mel

In this class, Mel will go over how to create an interesting quilt top using just strips of fabric. You can make this easy by just sewing long strips together, or more complicated by creating designs and patterns out of the fabric strips. Mel will show you examples and talk about the different ways to execute a strip quilt. This is a beginner and intermediate friendly class, please already know how to use a sewing machine before taking this workshop. If you have your own sewing machine please bring that, otherwise we have some available for use in the Art Room. If you have fabric shears please bring those. You can bring your own fabric or purchace some on our retail side, we will also have some fabric you can practice with, but it's recommended to bring some of your own.

We all put a lot of time and effort into creating these classes for you and cultivating an enjoyable and fun learning experience. With that in mind these classes are most suited for groups so we encurange you to register with a friend, or a few! A class minimum of 2 is required. Any classes with only one registered participant will be cancled 24-hours before the class. Refunds will be issued and you will be contacted by email and phone.

Folks who miss multiple classes without notice will be prevented from registering for future classes. If you are not able to attend a class you have registered for please call us and let us know.
