Stringers Branch Invasive Plant Removal
By TenneSEA
Overview
Join us to remove invasive plants to help clear out the area for future stream bank repairs!
Join us for another invasive plant removal this Friday on November 21st, from 12 A.M. to 3 P.M. behind the Red Bank City Police Department. Come and learn about the importance of removing invasive plants such as Kudzu, Privet, Japanese Honeysuckle, Bittersweet, and English Ivy.
Removing invasive species is essential to restoring native habitats and preparing our creeks for streambank repair workshops. Waterways will have gloves and tools available, but feel free to bring your own gear! Gear such as loopers, gloves, handsaws, eye protection, closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, a water bottle, and a hat are suggested.
