Recent MIT research showed that 77 percent of companies surveyed said the two out of the top three major procurement risk factors were related to suppliers — they were over-dependency and quality issues on suppliers. Most companies have been collecting basic supplier information and conducting initial due diligence procedure. Edward Rayner is currently the procurement advisor for a number organizations in the Australian region. Previously he was a senior procurement director to Worley Parsons in their China Supply Chain. Working in both Chinese and English across this complex arena, he was able to focus and deliver increased revenue the business development and deliver anti-fraud initiatives. Prior to China, he was employed by the University of United Arab Emirates to work with the executive team to build the procurement policy and process framework of this regionally renowned institution. Edward have deep experience in business development , procurement, and export of services into the Asian region.
   

Colin McIntyre
Director
Lean Procurement

Colin McIntyre has almost two decades of experience in global supply chain management. Colin is a MCIPS qualified lecturer, currently undertaking an MBA at Aberdeen University, and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and industry experience with his students. His in-depth knowledge of the challenges the industry presents makes him one of the best possible professionals to deliver CIPS accredited training, providing logical advice for best practice and smarter supply chain management.
   

Georg Rösch
Head of Product Management
POOL4TOOL

Georg Rösch has been Head of Product Management at POOL4TOOL, the solution specialist, since 2013. Together with his team, he works on developing the substance and quality of the software solution. His main professional area is supplier management processes, including from procurement projects at market leaders from the manufacturing industry, such as MANN+HUMMEL, Stihl, and Dürr. Prior to his career at POOL4TOOL, Georg studied Media Informatics at the Technical University of Vienna, where he also worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Software Engineering. He also gained experience at the bfi Veinna and the IBM Learning Service as a trainer.
