About the speaker:

Jackie Franks, MPH, CHES, CPS:

Jackie Franks is the Executive Director of Indiana Alliance on Prenatal Substance Exposure. Jackie is an Illinois native and received her bachelor’s degree in health science and master’s degree in Public Health from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. Jackie has worked extensively in health education, promotion, and primary disease prevention for over a decade. Jackie is a Certified Prevention Specialist and a Certified Health Education Specialist. IAPSE is a recognized leader in Indiana for education and prevention of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders.

CEU Information:

This course provides 1 CEU. CEU’s are Category 1 CEU provided by Indiana State statute 839IAC 1-6-2(F)(86). MHAI Stanley W. DeKemper Training Institute provides CEU's for the following:

  • Addiction Counselors
  • Social Workers
  • Marriage & Family Therapist
  • Mental Health Counselors
  • Certified Peer Recovery Professionals (CAPRC, CARC, CHW/CRS, CHW, CCHW)

Indiana Alliance on Prenatal Substance Exposure (formerly Indiana NOFAS, Inc.) is a 501C-3 non-profit who works to prevent prenatal exposure to alcohol, drug and other substances known to harm fetal development by education, advocating and supporting professionals policymakers, families and individuals throughout Indiana.
