Strategic Doing Essentials: A Half-Day Class
Many of you have already experienced Strategic Doing in action through our coalition’s work. This half-day class is a chance to go deeper—understanding why the practice works, how to use it more effectively, and ways to amplify the impact of our ongoing efforts.
You’ll learn the essentials of designing and guiding strategic conversations, practice applying the four core questions, and explore how this framework strengthens collaboration and accelerates progress. For those interested, this course also serves as preparation to become a Table Guide for one of our teams (though participation in the class does not commit you to that role).
Learning Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Explain the core principles of Strategic Doing and why the approach works in complex, networked settings.
- Apply the four Strategic Doing questions to design and guide collaborative conversations.
- Recognize how to amplify and sustain coalition efforts through small, measurable actions.
- Practice skills for building trust, linking assets, and accelerating progress within and across teams.
- Use a “learning by doing” approach to lead collaborative strategy in both coalition and organizational contexts.
Whether you plan to use Strategic Doing within the coalition or in other settings, this highly engaging and interactive course will give you practical tools for leading collaborative teams, turning talk into action, and navigating complex challenges.
