The successful Storytelling 101 class is back.
Learn to Tell the Personal Story is a 3-hour class, that will help you learn how to tell a personal story to an audience in a safe space, even if you've never spoken in front of an audience before.
Storytelling is one of the most important skills for people to know for their business and personal life. In this class you'll discover the methods behind how to tell great stories, like those you may hear on The Moth.
In this class, we’ll cover what makes a story different from an anecdote, what the three main components are in telling a story, and brainstorming story ideas.
The class is hands-on, interactive and there's an emphasis on practice. By the end of the class, you’ll have told a personal story.
Comments from students who took the class last year:
- “It definitely challenged me and pushed me to the next level”
- “It made me realize all kind of mundane moments could be made into a great story”
- “Loved we all had a chance to practice, and the instructor popped in with tips”
Every student who attended last year would recommend this class to a friend.
