Story Time with Local Poet Meredith Avakian

All kiddos are welcome to STORY TIME on Saturday, November 15th at 10am! This story time will be centered around being grateful and giving back to your community.

Now is the time to take stock of all of the beautiful things we have in this life, be grateful, and make space to give back to your community. For the forseeable future we ABC will be collecting non-perishibles and personal higene items to benefit organizations such as Trinity Church, Mercy Center, and the People's Pantry in hopes to help the people and KIDS of this community. There is no donation too small. Bring a canned good or package of diapers to donate on your way to story time! This is how we take care of our community.

Meredith is a writer, spoken word poet, keynote speaker, storyteller, conscious communications coach and community connector, as well as the author of Propaganda Begins with PR: Poetry for the Soul and PRhyme Time: Power of Poetry. Additionally, Meredith is an instructor and the director of community outreach and engagement at Project Write Now. Her writing has been published by The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Philadelphia Lawyer, and philly.com. Her poetry has been published in The Armenian Mirror-Spectator, The Armenian Poetry Project, The Literary Groong, and in several of Moonstone Arts’ Poetry Ink chapbooks. After becoming a new mama, Meredith returned home to the Jersey Shore, where she started the next chapter of her story.
