Location: Dayton Metro Library – West Branch (300 Abbey Ave, Dayton, OH 45417)
WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Inspired by the Cake Picnic Tour, Stories & Slices is more than just a dessert party. It's a vibrant, community-powered experience where every guest brings a whole or half cake to share, and in return, gets to sample 8–12 glorious slices. Cakes can be homemade or store-bought.
HOW IT WORK:
- Bring a cake you love.
- Whole cake = 8 -12 slice access
- Half cake = up to 8 slice access
- Drop off your cake between 12:00–12:45 PM. Setup your cake and label it.
- From 1:00 to 4:00 PM We mingle, swap stories, eat cake, and soak in the sugar and joy.
- Cake boxes and forks will be provided. Just bring the cake and the stories.
SET THE TONE:
Invite your friends, share the story behind your cake, or let the flavors do the talking. Whether it’s grandma’s secret recipe or your favorite store gem, your cake has a place at our table. We’re here for flavor and connection, not perfection.
VIBE CHECK:
Chill music, come-as you are atmosphere. No pressure. No judging. Just people, cake, and connection.
