    Join Friends of Netarts Bay WEBS and the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum for a special presentation celebrating the people and history of the Oregon Coast with local author and historian John Andersen. John will share stories from his newly released book, The Amazing People Between the Capes – A History about the People of Cape Meares, Netarts, and Oceanside, Oregon, and foster a greater knowledge of the area's diverse history.

    With over two decades of work in community development and environmental education in the area, John brings a personal and deeply informed perspective to the stories that define life between Cape Lookout and Cape Meares.

    Whether you're a longtime local, a new resident, or simply interested in coastal Oregon history, this event is a chance to connect with the rich heritage and remarkable individuals who have called this region home.

    Friends of Netarts Bay Watershed Estuary Beach and Sea (WEBS) is dedicated to sustaining the area surrounding Netarts Bay through education and stewardship. WEBS staff and volunteers are knowledgable nature guides and interpreters offering free adventures to help you fall in love with and take care of this beautiful section of the Oregon Coast.
