About this event

Arts • Craft

Join us at Red Arrow Gallery, for an intimate cyanotype portrait photography session with Nashville-based artist LeXander Bryant . Using one of the oldest photographic printing processes, LeXander will create striking Cyanotype portraits ( + cost) for participants, capturing their likeness through this distinctive blue-toned technique.

During each session, guests will have the opportunity to observe LeXander’s process and gain insight into the artistry and history behind this unique medium. This event offers a rare chance to sit for a portrait (2 people maximum) by an important voice in contemporary photography while experiencing the craftsmanship and storytelling at the heart of LeXander’s practice.

LeXander Bryant (b. 1989) is a photographer, visual artist, and founder of Archive South, a southern-based multidisciplinary studio that emphasizes the importance of artists as storytellers and cultural documentarians. Archive South encourages artists to produce and share their creations, preserving the essence of their lived experiences.
