Why can I only purchase one ticket?

Tickets must be reserved one-at-a-time using the name of the learner as it should appear on the Certificate. This allows us to prepare the completion certificate and have them read to present for you to take home.

What if I sign up and then cannot attend?

Please refer to you confirmation email and cancel your ticket to allow room for another student or to save our organization on waste for no-shows.  If you cannot find the email to cancel, simply email jekizian@phd1.idaho.gov or text 208-651-9096 with you name and a message.

Can my children attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes, they may attend if they plan to learn.  We have taught and graduated kids as young as 3 years old.  They must be focused, receptive to instruction and show competency in performing the skills with one-on-one help from our MRC volunteer instructors.

Do I need to bring anything?

Accepted Answer

This is a 50/50 lecture and hands on practical skills class.  You will possibly be on the floor (physical health permitting).  Dress comfortably.  No need to bring anything.  You may bring your first aid kit to share and compare if you wish.

Is there a fee or charge?

Accepted Answer

No.  Stop the Bleed is a program brought to the communities of Northern Idaho at no charge, with the support of grant funding and the generous time of volunteers of the Medical Reserve Corps of Panhandle Health District.
