Stone Carving Workshop at the RVCC - Beginner and Returning Students

Come to the Rockfish Valley Community Center for a morning of stone carving!

The stone carving worskhop returns to the RVCC! Beginners will learn to create lettering and simple relief carving in stone using traditional hand tools. Returning students will begin a sculpture in the round. All students will have a carved stone (limestone or soapstone) to take home. No experience necessary. Tools and stone provided. Just bring yourself, closed toed shoes, and clothes you don’t mind getting dusty!
