Join us for a special Summer Series edition of Stomping Grounds Open Stage, closing out a full day of music as part of Make Music Chicago in Uptown!
🎶 About the Event
Make Music Chicago is an annual, citywide celebration of music held on the summer solstice. Musicians of all styles and skill levels perform in streets, parks, and public spaces all over the city—free for all. We’re ending the day at Buttercup Park with community, creativity, and a mic open to all voices.
🎹 This Month’s Feature: Kai 凱 on the Keys
A genre-crossing pianist, vocalist, and music director, Kai has worked with Chicago Loud 9, Second City, Aya Ito, and more. Whether she’s scoring sketch comedy or commanding festival stages, she brings power, precision, and joy to every set. Come experience her live under the summer sky.
