Stillhouse Junkies & Stillhouse String Band

Acoustic adventurers Stillhouse Junkies explore the worlds between roots, bluegrass, Texas swing, blues, and rock. Their free-flowing musical interplay and improvisation make every show unique as the trio weave through high-energy, intricately composed original songs, never taking the same path twice. Formed in 2017, the band consists of Fred Kosak (guitar, mandolin), Alissa Wolf (fiddle), and Jeanette Adams (bass).

Hailing from Colorado’s high desert, Still House String Band is a progressive bluegrass powerhouse blending Appalachian tradition with a modern jam-grass edge. Winners of the 2024 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Contest, the band has captivated audiences with high-energy performances, tight harmonies, and masterful musicianship.

From the bar at Peach Street Distillery to festival main stages, their music tells stories of love, loss, and the rugged beauty of the high Colorado desert. Whether they’re picking through bluegrass standards, delivering heartfelt originals, or putting a fresh twist on Bruce Springsteen or Taylor Swift, the Still House String Band is redefining the Colorado bluegrass sound.

With a new EP recorded at E-Town Studios in Boulder and an ambitious 2025 tour schedule, Still House String Band is gearing up for their biggest year yet.
