About this event

Reminder: Those who register after July 21 are not guaranteed an event T-shirt.

Can you imagine a world without Alzheimer's or dementia? The Lutheran Home Association: Belle Plaine Campus is hosting a walk to raise awareness about dementia and those it affects. The ninth annual Stepping Forward for Dementia walk will be held on Thursday, August 21.

Show your support by attending the walk. All proceeds will go towards memory care funding on our campus. We encourage attendees to walk in memory or honor of a loved one with memory loss.

T-SHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED FOR ORDERS PLACED AFTER JULY 21.

The Lutheran Home: Belle Plaine offers a Special Care Residence, especially designed to provide a higher level of care as Alzheimer’s or other dementias progress. Kingsway Senior Living offers studio apartments in a safe and comforting environment where those with dementia can stay engaged with life. Our staff are provided with ongoing training opportunities throughout the year to meet the special needs and cares of individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. These include online training, onsite workshops, and other learning opportunities from leading health care organizations.
