Course Title: Step By Step Into The DSM: Diagnosing With Precision and Empathy

Course Description:

A physician can't apply a treatment until they have diagnosed the condition. It's the same for therapists.

Learning how to diagnose can be difficult. Learning how to teach it can be even more difficult. Diagnosing requires a systematic approach and astute assessment. One needs to know which questions to ask. One needs to know how to ethically use diagnosis. The presenter imparts practical application of DSM V-TR through case examples and breakout rooms. Fresh and updated for both experienced and new clinicians.Learning how to diagnose can be difficult. Learning how to teach it can be even more difficult.
