Join us for a hands-on evening where you’ll get to step onto real racing sailboats, meet local skippers, and try your hand at sailing skills like hoisting sails, grinding winches, and trimming lines. It's a relaxed, low-pressure way to see what being part of a sailing crew is all about.

What should I bring?

Dress for the weather and bring your own hydration if desired. In the case of inclement weather, we will stay inside the clubhouse. Please wear or bring clean shoes with non-marking soles if possible. Closed-toe shoes are preferred for your safety.

What if the weather is rainy?

In the case of inclement weather, we will stay inside the clubhouse.

Are we going sailing?

No, the boats will not leave the dock. You'll have opportunities to board sailboats and learn skills without even leaving the dock.

What are the physical requirements?

Walk 1/4 mile. Be able to step from a dock to a sailboat.
