STEM to Studio

Come join us at Gallery Reimagined for an exciting event where science, technology, engineering, and math meet art and creativity! STEM to Studio: Interconnection of Science and Art is presented by Gallery Reimagined in collaboration with the Institute of Marine and Environmental Technology (IMET)

STEM to Studio is a celebration of creative interpretation—where artists, though not scientists by training, engage deeply with scientific ideas to craft visual narratives that bridge disciplines and spark dialogue. Through this collaboration with IMET, Gallery Reimagined invites viewers to explore how art can illuminate science not through replication, but through imagination, metaphor, and storytelling.

The exhibition features works that draw from marine biology, environmental data, and technological innovation—translated into vibrant color palettes, 3D sculptures, digital animations, and AI-generated compositions. From an IT retiree’s abstract reflections on data systems to illustrations that visualize molecular memory, each piece offers a unique lens on the scientific world, grounded in personal experience and cultural insight.

This initiative reflects Gallery Reimagined’s mission to elevate emerging artists, foster community engagement, and promote mental wellness through creative expression. By connecting science and art, STEM to Studio transforms the gallery into a space of interdisciplinary exploration—where curiosity leads, and creativity becomes a tool for understanding the complexities of our world.
