Calling all young engineers and future pilots ages 8-12 (girls and boys)! Join us for STEM Flight Lab, an exciting, hands-on adventure in the world of paper aviation. Kids will explore the science of flight by designing and testing their own paper airplane models, experimenting with different wing styles, folds, and materials to discover what flies best.

We’ll take it to the next level by testing out a variety of launchers—from rubber band blasters to motorized launchers—and collect data to compare which designs soar the farthest or fly the longest!

This event blends creativity, problem-solving, and engineering fun in a supportive, exploratory environment. Come ready to build, test, tweak, and fly!

This is not a drop-off event—parents/guardians must stay on-site at the library during the program.
