Who can participate in the program?

The program is designed to help people of color interested in science-based careers, but all are welcome to enroll! It is open to both students (free with registration) and non-students (with a fee based on participation level).

What portion(s) of the program is virtual?

Weeks 1-4 will be 100% virtual, while the Industry Tour (Week 5) and the Shades of Brilliance Networking Event (Week 6) will take place in the SF Bay Area.

When will the program be held?

The STEM Connect Program will run from 4/2/2025 -5/10/2025.

What is the time commitment?

~1.5 hours per week.

How much does the program cost?

The program is free for students who register with a valid school email address and submit a resume. For non-students, we offer tiered pricing depending on your level of participation.

Question 6

Can I attend the networking event if I am not a participant in the program?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the networking event is open to all, but participants in the Tech Connect program can attend for free. Non-participants can attend for a fee of $10.

Question 7

Will transportation be provided for the industry tour?

Accepted Answer

Transportation to/from the Industry Tour will be provided from a designated pick-up/drop-off location in the SF Bay Area

Can I switch my registration tier after signing up?

Accepted Answer

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to change your registration tier. We will do our best to accommodate changes based on availability.
